Snack Sessions
For people who have completed the Gateway Session, we offer 2-hour evening Sessions we call Snacks, which focus on specific pleasing activities. We recommend inhaled cannabis for these shorter-duration events.
Wine and Cheese Tasting
Join wine and cheese connoisseur Anthony Johansen for a taste adventure of red and white varietals, and some fine cheeses. Cannabis can delightfully and temporarily change your flavor preferences. If you normally fancy reds, at this event you might discover a stronger pull to whites, or vice versa. A shift that can excite a wine lover.
Come with a bottle to share, and tell us why you like it.

Meet Cool People
HeartFlower members have a common interest: using cannabis as a tool of personal development. This makes us super interesting folks, and good candidates for new friends! In these interactions guided by founder John Ince, cannabis helps deepen interpersonal connections. Make new friends!
Dance
Join a "headphone disco" of carefully curated body-moving music led by dancer Sean MacBee. Dance hard and dance soft. A gentle cannabis high can loosen up your hips and inhibitions. Express yourself in movement like never before.
Nature Extravaganza
Stanley Park gives access to the rich nature of forest, lake, and sea and cannabis can enhance their appreciation. We will explore the multi-sensory spectacle of the park in silence, led by naturalist Emily Parker. Then we go to the beach and watch the sunset and chat about the experience.

Let-go
Our lives are stressed. Our bodies hold tension. Cannabis can help us shed much of this compulsive clenching. Take a couple hours to get really, really, relaxed. We will breathe deep, release stiff muscles, and relish the full-bodied state of let-go. Led by John Ince.

Deep Listening
Spend a couple hours with the ear candy of classic composers and modern maestros. Pianist Daphne Murray will introduce each piece and identify key motifs to listen for. Cannabis can help us stay tuned to the sounds and perceive patterns that deepen our appreciation of this artform.
Unleash your inner Picasso
Join artist Amy Charcoudrian to plumb the hidden depths of your painterly consciousness, boosted by cannabis. Play with rich colors, broad strokes, canvasses big and small. Take home your creation for hours of after-Session gazing pleasure. For first-time painters or seasoned pros.
Psychedelic Session 1
Our Sunday day-long (10am-5pm) Psychedelic Session 1 aims to reach altered states that are higher than the Gateway or Snack Sessions but still below maximum psychedelic intensity.
You can expect substantial stimulation of your senses which sometimes can include synesthesia where the sounds of music are perceived as visual patterns. Seeing patterns, colors, and even images while your eyes are closed is also common.
Your emotions will be closer to the surface and flow more easily. The emotional richness can provide periods of deep fulfillment. But negative feelings can also arise, and you will learn ways to cope with them. The emotional depths of the event can provide important self insights and enhance creativity, and help you be warmer when you relate to others after the Session.
Session activities include deep relaxation, extended meditations of different types, and authentic social relating near the end.
Psychedelic Session 2
Attend this Session if you have done the Psychedelic Session 1 (preferably more than once) and want to experience the power of cannabis to radically alter your inner world. At high doses, the cannabis trance is roughly equivalent to that of a moderate dose of psilocybin or LSD.
At the peak of the experience, which can last for several hours, you will be silent and completely focused inward, lying, or sitting. At times you are likely to hallucinate with your eyes closed or open. Expect to drop much of your ego, and experience a softer, humbler part of yourself that normal life often conceals. Be prepared for some negative feelings as you adjust to the profoundly altered state, although most of the experience is usually quite blissful.
The registration page for these events is visible only to Heartflower Members.
